Looks like Porro is heading to Spurs. Even less chance of Spence getting a game now. We must be in with a shout at getting Spence on loan and maybe with an option to buy when Ward and Clyne finish up in the summer and we finally give up on Ferguson.

In terms of widespread speculation about Spence joining our club it has all got rather muted.

You'd hope that IF we are interested in him, there is a good chance in getting him now. Now 4th choice. They only paid a £12.5 initial fee, I'd be tempted to offer Levey the same to get it done

Surely that says something I suspect he's not hte best defensive full back in the world. But he surely cant be much worse than the options we currently have. Not sure I'd read much in to the 3rd choice at Spurs situation. They are an odd club with loads of competition for some places and none for others

I think Spence will be loaned out regardless of whether they bring in another RB. They have Doherty and Royal already, and Tanganga can play there as well. There was also stories previously that wasn't really a signing that Conte wanted. If they recoup their outlay, I think they would offload.

According to skysports he's off to Rennes on loan with no option to buy. Seems a strange move tbh.
