I have a funny feeling about Palace this year - that they will win the FA Cup. Underdogs do win it occasionally and I can't think of a beter one than Palace at present. All the pressure is on Chelsea and whomever we meet in the final. The Palace players WILL ALL turn up for this one - no doubt in my mind. Chelsea 'should' be too strong and win, but Palace LOVE that scenario! As we all know Palace love it when teams come on to them. But both teams will play warily for most of the match then Chelsea will turn on the afterburners with 70 minutes to go to finish Palace off (neither team wants penalties). That's what I predict, a cautious arm-wrestle from both sides for 70 minutes, then a Palace winner when Chelsea start attacking our penalty box. 1 - 0 win to Palace. We'll have to score as many as possible in the first 20 then!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The fans will lift the team to new levels. Chelsea have never experienced the ‘Palace Invasion’. I’m confident that the Palace players will sense the enthusiasm of the faithful and produce an amazing performance…1-0 Palace….Eagles…

Lawro has us down to lose 0-2. Given he's about as reliable as Russian State media in predicting our scores must surely bode well!

I'm lousy at predictions but if we can keep Chelsea out the longer the games goes the more I fancy our chances. They will be tired from the Real Madrid game so I predict they will hit us hard early and try and finish us off. If we do concede early Chelsea will just sit back and control the game and their energy. 2-1 Palace AET. COYP

I will be amazed if we win. Like to be more positive but without Gallagher and probably no Olise and possibly no striker starting the game, its not looking good.

We're used to not having a striker. Anyway Benteke comes on and gets a Hattrick. We give him a five year contract.

I think we'll win 1-0. Fully expect typical big occasion Palace performance with a clearance off the line (especially if Ward starts), a goal in the second half and then holding on with everything we have for the last 10 minutes
