Having watched their game tonight. They get gifted two penalties and still lose. God we dodged a bullet with Lampard as our manager that’s for sure. Guess he will be out of work again if Everton go down. He might not last that long.

Great post-match interview from Dyche. I know which of the two managers I'd want in that position. Told his team at half-time that Everton don't know how to win: put them under pressure and they'll buckle...and they did...against Burnley! Yes Burnley will scrap till the bitter end, will Evertons players do the same?? I doubt it somehow. Lampard’s looked like a beaten man for a while now Edited by monkey (06 Apr 2022 10.27pm)

I work with a lot of Evertom fans and can safely say they are now totally despondent and Lampard is now as hated as Gerrard.

Everton are in the doh doh. Man u By the time they face Watford they could be firmly in the bottom 3. Looks like we will have two chances to knock the final nail in a relegation coffin this season as we face them on 19 May.

Could stay up, could stay down. As you say, we may well stay a decisive role in that. Better than the situation in reverse .

Lampard's comments get me. First he says he was excited about the relegation battle. Now hes said they have to use the Burnley defeat as a positive! He reminds me of Reece Mogg and his food banks comment. Lampard ain't the man to lead you in a relegation battle. He comes out with all the soundbites but has he got anything else? Doesnt appear to be that much!

If Everton go down, it will probably be the best squad to ever get relegated from the premiership. They have players in that squad that most teams would kill to have. And yet...despite that I think they are going down, that run of games looks brutal. By the end of this month they could be overtaken by Watford, could honestly be 2nd bottom by the end of April unless they pick up some shock results from somewhere

Well done Burnley and Dyche. In a relegation battle I would always back them. Burnley know they are in a fight Everton cannot understand why they lose to little Palace and why they are not competing at the top end of the table. We will see how Everton perform they really are in touble and with the likes of Burnley an Watford managed by seasoned old pro's I know here my money is. Still it's not all bad news for Fun time Frankie, Sky will be dusting off his co commentor chair for next season and dry cleaning his suit, he'' be alright not sure about the Everton fans though.

One can only speculate as to whether he now regrets joining Everton. Let me guess....their final game is at home to Wimbledon
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Lampard given manager's job. Proceeds to buy the blood and guts Deli Ali to save Everton's PL status. A disaster from the beginning. And for that reason Everton deserve everything they get.
