It’s the dynamic of civilisation.

I've long argued that there is a symbiotic relationship between rich and poor: one needs the other....Many many books basically say the same thing in many different ways. What you want is a tide that rises all boats...what you have been getting is a tide rising just the nice boats....in the long run that doesn't end well. The ideal is a hierarchy that is built upon merit. If you have the best minds in the most important jobs your society will flourish. However, that is only maintained if the leaders believe strongly in those principles. If their attention is focused by money, cronyism and centralised control the system quickly becomes a parody....At the moment our unelected institutions and corporations are pretty far left socially (I've previously said why that is) and that ideology decides who gets into leadership decisions. As always if you want to see the quality of your leaders and what they believe you look at what the top universities were pumping out twenty-thirty years ago. The present future and what's coming have been low quality elites for some time and that will continue until such time as events change that environment. If you take technology out of the equation and look at economics the west has been in decline for some time.....printing money does not solve an illness, it's a painkiller that only delays it, while directly worsening the illness.

This starts locally with councils. Positive discrimination in favour of gay, non white or disabled to fill a criteria. Not right, not clever and defiantly not beneficial to the populace under said councils.
