Any event/sport that garners significant interest from joe public, is weaponised by advertising. I suppose it's naivety on my part to think politics isn't deeply enshrined somewhere. I think this World Cup in particular is so outrageously duplicitous, that we are shocked to find ourselves being 'educated' by that intellectual stalwart David Beckham, and given morality advice about behaviour by FIFA. Suck it up,..because there's really nothing of interest out there on the playing fields. Everything is discredited. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (27 Nov 2022 6.24am)

sick and tired of all this Left wing versus Right wing nonsense. the only concession i would make was for the Poppies on Remembrance Sunday....which is also political. everything else is a never-ending carousel merry-go-round of boring patronising shyte.

Football is a deflection to the problem which is the BBC funding model. End taxpayer funded media and the problem goes away. I wish now I had filmed the behaviour of George Lineker and his group at Lord's in the summer on the first day of the New Zealand test match. Edited by HKOwen (13 Mar 2023 10.52am)
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

here is the BBC making a t1.t out of themselves again. And upon being reprimanded for asking an inappropriate politically-loaded question...the looney lefty insisted that it WAS a valid question to be needling thus. what next question for the Morocco Captain ? the disputed territory of Western Sahara ? or whether the stadium lights will contribute to climate-change ?

The BBC is constantly making a tit out of itself. From allowing Alex Scott to smugly wear that f***ing rainbow armband because Harry Kane was banned from wearing it in a World Cup game, to allowing Lineker to hold them to ransom over his inappropriate t***tering. Football Focus spends more time waffling on about woke issues instead of concentrating on what the show is supposed to be about...that particular weekend's football matches. I accidentally caught the BBC news at the weekend and one of their top items was Liverpool hosting Ukraine's Pride March. Big news story? Not really, but hey, it fitted their agenda perfectly, which is to bang their particular drum and not let real news get in the way of their f***ing virtue signalling. Their hysterical obsession over climate change is really pissing me off, constantly ramming it down the viewers' throats at every opportunity. They went into virtual orgasmic meltdown when some dickhead from the United Nations said the planet is now "boiling". It doesn't seem to register in their tiny one-track minds that the planet has been warming up since the last ice age 10k years ago. No doubt Justin Rowlatt, Packham, Attenborough and the rest of the eco-facists will blame the end of the ice age on neanderthal man lighting too many fires to keep themselves warm and to cook their marinated wooly mammoth steaks and by the sabre toothed tigers farting too much. The BBC is a f***ing joke. Sorry, saw the mention of the BBC and it's lefty bias, saw red, and got into a bit of a rant there... Oh, and yes, kick politics out of football! Taking the bloody knee, rainbow laces and all the other crap, bin the lot.

Sometimes you think it has to be 'fed' created behaviour to deliberately divide but nine times out of ten it's probably the same usual unstable neuroticism. it i my preference that there be ZERO politics in football. However, if the BBC et al will insist on flooding it with Looney Lefty shyte......then we can concede to allow in the Politics, with the proviso that there be the Hard Right also there....for balance. Nick Griffin, NF and a little shrine on the pitch to Oswald Moseley plus everybody crying for those Fascists injured at the Battle of Cable Street. seems to be a fair compromise ? And let our Spanish Footballers take the knee for the memory of General Franco ?
