I've written many a rambling note on here Groover when having looked back over cannot remember what point I was making in the first place let alone sense of the actual post itself!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Thanks Nick.
The wife and I both have Covid now (nothing very much but it does mean we'll miss our Tenerife holiday next week).
At least the Citeh match is on the tele although I'd rather be at SP.

If we play as well as we did against Watford and Wolves I'm going for 2-2.

I hope that it is an enjoyable and hard fought game and if we get anything out of it then all the better.
Sadly, given I am testing positive I doubt that I will get there - grrr!

Forget winning as the BBC resident expert Lawro has us losing 0-3.

Not normally one to be confident against the likes of City, but given our habit of hampering title races, I'll go for a 2-1 Palace win. Olise double

This is a tricky one, not !
For Moan City, read Liverpool at home, another proper gutsy home performance but ending in an away win, the size of which is dependant on how much the referee colludes (no doubt we will again get lumbered with 'Kevin Friend to the big clubs' or Moss or Dean or Pawson or the incompetent who did the Villa home game).
We mustn't run the risk one of Sky Sport's teams dropping points or upsetting one of the ever-whining foreign managers.

I've just had a squint at a Man City forum out of idle curiosity. Some of them seem to show a reluctant admiration for what we are doing under PV. Needless to say Wilf is thought by them to go down too easily and, unsurprisingly, Olise has caught their eye, although one Palace wag has contributed saying he is rubbish and if their scouts are looking at him they should be sacked!

Nearly 85% of them forecast they will win and just under 7% think victory will be ours. The rest plump for a draw.

I'm thinking that Selhurst on a Monday night, with the form we're currently showing, might well work in our favour.

2-1 Palace.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I think we'll be overcome by their superior fire power but it hasn't stopped me having a small wager on us
