Total absolute garbage. Mateta running around like a headless chicken, Andersen's distribution shocking, has Wilf touched the ball at all? A miracle if we can string 3 passes together..... 1000% improvement required in the 2nd. half.

Very poor. We need a change up front for sure. Édouard for me should play every week, if you give him game time he will get the goals.

Yes, and every other position on the pitch.

You wouldn’t mind if it is last resort when there is no positive pass to make, whereas it seems to be the default pass.

We are awful, Stoke making us look like an average championship side, we are far too slow playing out from the back, the passing is poor, even when we get in to their half we seem to run out of ideas and end up going backwards. Wilf is somewhere else and we have not had, as far as I can remember one shot that has bothered their keeper!

That's how I see it. We do seem to be all out of ideas. Still in it though, so am hoping for the best in the second half.

It's dull but check out the other scores.

Win in full time with the least effort and risk of injury. Not easy viewing and carries the risk of losing but the focus has to be the premiership.

I don’t know about you but this unnecessary back passing for no reason is driving me crazy. There doesn’t seem to be any sort of plan and we look like a team of individuals. It’s a good job Stoke do not look too good in front of goal as with better strikers we would be in trouble.

I can't off-hand think of a team we look like.

Has Clyne even passed the halfway line yet ? No wonder Pat prefers Joel to him .

Fully agree, they seem to have no idea how to open up the opposition, they get to the penalty area then start passing backwards and backwards until the ball is back with our keeper, no wonder we can't score!

Midfield is not functioning.
Big gaps between Olise and Hughes and Kouyate and no rhythm of play to allow us to build moves.
The strikers are getting scraps to feed upon.
I'd put Olise on the right and bring on Gallagher.

Another tinkering masterclass from Vieira. Why is Olise where he is instead of where Ayew is?
