Sorry but i think Pat, is doing a good job , when you look at some of the other managers some of the members were baying for them to be our manager , Benetis got sacked from Everton , Cooper sacked from Swansea , ismail whatever his name is sacked , Nuno sacked . I think it will take time for us to gell as a team and we are playing attractive attacking football who was only just beaten by European club cup winners in the last miniute of the game .

Cooper walked out of Swansea and has done wonders at forest.

This has to be a joke right?

Roy has a front 3 better than any 3 he ever had at palace, his style and their fire power will keep them up easily, we gave him nothing to work with after his 1st season.

Really? ..thought Chelsea were the negative ones by fouling us every single time we got the better of them.

West Ham who are fifth have lost eight games all season, do you know how many we've lost?

How are we not 6th then

I really like the way we play but as I just posted elsewhere - playing well doesn't guarantee results and they are what we need currently.
It is fine margins at this level and the odd mistake and the odd miss means so much right now.
Our form isn't awful - the last 10 games have seen us take 10 points - 4 losses against Liverpool, West Ham, Chelsea and Spurs - we wouldn't have expected anything from those games in reality would we?
13 goals for - 15 conceded - not great but 9 of those conceded in three loseable games - so not worrying to concede 6 in the other 7 games.
It is not knowing how to beat the likes of Norwich and Brentford that is causing the problems.
Wednesday and next Saturday are crucial now and we have to find a way to take some chances.
Early goals against the teams around us change games - they have to come at us then which will work in our favour.
PV needs to work this out and set the plans and the traps.
4 points from these next two games and we will be fine - lose one or both and trouble is looming.
Watford and Burnley both looked good yesterday and we need to dampen their spirits asap.

The performances have not been that bad but we have not been getting the results.
We’re always competitive and remain in games, although the concession of late goals is a concern.
There does not seem to be that much wrong except, and this is critical, in making and taking chances.
You can’t win games if you don’t score and this is one of the reasons we draw so many.
There’s much to admire in the way the team is adjusting to Vieira’s methods, but the one area where he has yet to convince is in his deployment of our forwards.
It’s easy to say they are not good enough, but do we play to their strengths?
Are they being giving an opportunity to build a rhythm with the constant chopping and changing?
I haven’t a clue from one week to the next what the make up our forward line will be but am pretty certain what the back four will look like.

We are 'Birds on the same twig' on this matter.

Benteke is clearly out of favour, Mateta is yet to convince supporters he is worth a regular place and Edouard has been played out wide.

We are not getting the results, and his team selections are baffling but loom at the table, go on forums for Leicester, villa, Everton, Brentford, Leeds, Watford, Norwich, Burnley, their fans will be in the sane boat, its not as easy, unless you're a big club, 90% of the time you're struggling, you get the odd good season like West ham, wolves and Brighton. Newcastle were extremely lucky to be bought out. PV has still done a relatively good job

I fear a 1-0 defeat against Watford. Roy has in Sarr and Dennis two very quick forwards who are also good finishers. He will put 8 men behind the ball and play the ball behind our back four exposing our lack of pace.

And josh King who on his day is a right handful.

A defeat against Watford will cause shockwaves amongst our supporters many of whom I suspect are now believing that relegation is a realistic prospect and such fears will be heightened if Watford emerge victorious.

It’s always our luck that we have to play struggling teams just as they find a bit of form, as others have said, this is a big week, we couldn’t beat Norwich or brentford, if we can’t beat Watford or Burnley as well, we really will be looking over our shoulders.
