Too many on here think they know the real Cressida Dick. She was a dedicated copper who has tried to deal with that total dick of a mayor and ultimately failed. There are 40,000+ people working for the Met in either the front line or support roles and the vast majority of them are neither racist or incompetent.

The left and other organisations have tried to destroy the Met for years who, lets not forget are primarily there to protect us, not molly coddle us and there was a time when most in this country had respect for a Police Officer. These days all you see is the public arguing with them, resisting arrest, failing to do what they are told even when it is in their best interest.

If anything has changed in London for the worse it is not the Met it is the people who live there. All residents should take a close look at their own behaviour and stop constantly blaming others for their own plight.

You will always get bad eggs in every profession and I’m afraid Dick has been judged by their actions rather than the good she did. Khan is the one to go if you want to improve London.

Apparently - the Deputy Commissioner has made a formal complaint as to the way Cressie's resignation/sacking was handled - he is not happy about the protocol!
