We don't need meat to survive. Not even nearly. And while not choosing how they're slaughtered, buying it with the knowledge of how they're killed makes them entirely complicit. Unless you’re referring to cheap takeaways sourcing meat from cruel indoor farms and processing places only you clearly haven’t read what I posted. People can’t afford to buy meat from animals raised the old way because of how business has steered what’s available (see also mass produced and often flat pack everything these days). I’ll give you the masses not helping by buying freedom range level of chicken that’s between mass produced and free range or organic, but you can’t blame the individual or families not spending £12 on a chicken when the way the world has gone means that £5 is affordable. So unless everyone refuses to buy the £5 chicken then I’m afraid a short life overcrowded indoors is what’s going to happen. Anyway, humans are now being overcrowded. What about cruelty to humans?

West Ham have lost the chance to have right on their side but when you are owned by certain individuals what does one expect. Edited by The Dolphin (09 Feb 2022 11.17am)

I was at the game last night with a west ham mate. mixed views from the west ham fans... (they really are an odd bunch) some of chants from them last night tho: Zoumas cat gets battered everywhere he goes... He kicks what he wants, kurt zouma he kicks what he wants. And then I heard a young girl upset reading the team line ups before game to her dad over him starting. Obviously money talks and if west ham get champions league because of him then its good for them. FYI - I did boo him last night!

What I struggle to understand is fixation of people who have to film themself do these awful things , and then post them for the world to see .

I think it’s accepted that Zouma isn’t particularly bright, just gets paid an obscene amount of money, always a bad combination. He probably sees his employer, the sleazy p*** baron sitting in the stand with, what looks like a dead cat on his head and thinks it’s ok to abuse cats in this country.

It's just not him , if I was up to something I thought was not quite right ,last thing I would be doing is filming and posting for the world to see .maybe I just answered my own question, "i thought".that's the answer they dont , or cant .

So if you're getting stuck into Zouma and still condoning the cruelty to those animals...I question the integrity. In saying that, I agree he needs punishment. Horrible. It's not a valid comparison. What zouma did was clear animal cruelty and illegal, rearing and eating animals is not illegal but is sounds like you think it should be. Farmers mistreating animals is illegal and they should be prosecuted. Personally I would ban battery hens but currently it is legal so you are comparing an act which is illegal to an act which you would like to be illegal.

Scummy West Ham no class.
100%. Shame on the club.
