Well ladies and gentlemen, first of all thank you for a fantastic day out. Really enjoyed the trip and us Poolies had a great day. Some great videos on YouTube of us enjoying ourselves in and around the ground.

The game went as I expected (slightly better if being honest) You never got out of first gear and never needed to. Two early goals basically put the game to bed. We huffed and puffed but nowhere near your quicker slick standard. IF we had scored, I think Palace would of got into second gear and ended up 4 or 5-1.

As previously said top club and amazing fans. Good luck this and future seasons you deserve it.

All the best mate, safe journey home. Thought you lot were very loud (at least until the goals knocked the stuffing out of you a little), and your summary of the game is a fair one to be honest, though I would add that your lads moved the ball around neatly.

Hope your fan that needed medical attention is OK. I was in the home section of the same stand as you lot, but couldn't see what was happening. Mind you, as you might have noticed, you can't see much of what's happening generally from that stand these days. At least its named after a bloke called Arthur (a chairman from days past) and not a middle Eastern oil company or something I suppose.

Good luck for the season, hope the money goes a long way.

To me he looks very decent.

You got there just before me. Non-existent ball control, always in the wrong place, useless in the air, etc.

Seriously? you can't be.

I wouldn’t read too much into the display. Did what was needed and never really troubled. Plus no injuries or silly bookings. Should have scored more but that has been the story of the season.

I think we can and will go up a gear or two at Norwich on Wednesday.

Correct.

Just finished watching Burnley V Watford - dire. Roy seemed pleased with the point and a cean sheet though. Thank God we have moved on from that.

Nice to hear Ray Lewington shouting his head off on the touchline.

Looking forward to the Roy post-match interview - clean sheet, good point, unlucky not to get the winner, need to take our chances, could have had a penalty... rinse and repeat.

I think he will be pleased Burnley dropping two points at home.

His job will be to get wins though, draws will leave Watford short.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

My journey is certainly incident free I'm half way home, although I've heard it can't be said for all unfortunately. It seems there may be trouble at King's Cross between Hartlepool and QPR fans, but that's their problem.

Yep. Dickheads is Dickheads, quite regardless of club loyalty.
