Reported as only a slight knock-

In all honesty, not really expecting to see much of him until next season when he could potentially replace Ward…

Yes, it’s his hamstring, a slight tweak and the lay off training is only ‘precautionary’ at the moment (apparently).

all players get minor injuries - lets give the guy a break. It's unfortunate but not unexpected.

Macca's had a few long term injuries over the last 2 years and no one's had a pop.

Macca is 75 years old and still returned from his major hamstring issue before Ferguson is over whatever he has.

Ferguson is exactly the same as Wickham. We'll be waiting for him to get healthy for years, and he never will be healthy. The sooner we cut bait, the better. We wasted years on Wickham, let's not repeat this mistake again.

Meanwhile the right back position becomes especially desperate, Ward's game yesterday was awful. The club will have to go into the marketplace if Ferguson isn't fully fit by next season, there really is no other choice.

Hasn't he aged well!!

As for Ferguson, his contract is up this summer, so If he hasn't returned and played half a dozen or more games by the season's end, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Nice kid but poppadoms for ligaments. if he doesn't play last 6 or so games of the season without an obvious re-occurrence of old injuries, then I think it's time to off load the wage.

Saw NF play for the U23's a couple of weeks back & he played Centre-Back. I assume if Wardy got injured then Clyne would come in or maybe Kelly, seem to recall he's played RB before as cover.

Just seen this from The Athletic, doesn't make good reading . . . [Link]

Max Aarons when Norwich go down. Offload both Emergency Ward & Ferguson. One is too slow, the other is permanently broken.

Mitchell is two footed cant he play RB, and the other kid that player a few mins against Hartlepool at LB, Clyne must be awful if he cant get a game at RB

Not as precautionary as initially thought it seems. He has done his hamstring which according to the Athletic is another 6 weeks out. I’m not convinced we can carry players like this when they are injured more often than not. Is he unlucky or just made of the most brittle glass?

This is really bad news. Three big injuries on the trot. Not sounding good. Just hope he make it.

This terrible news - we have got to replace Ward with someone with quality and pace. Week after week now he is getting exposed for pace and terrible positioning and it’s an area the opposition are exploiting.
