Trump's pre pandemic ecconomic policies were very successful, nonsense to call them disastrous. Then you quote some rigged chart that Goebbels would have been proud of.

You call handing tax cuts to his mates successful?

You cannot separate economic policy from foreign and social policy, because the latter two impact the performance of the first, and both of these were a total disaster. Add to that his blind ignorance of the impact of climate change on the long term economic prospects, and he was more than a disaster. He was the worst POTUS in history.

The chart has been verified as accurate, even if it needs to be set in its context. It isn't "rigged". It is spun.

Not rigged. Spun. Classic.
Trump has gone. What’s the point in attacking him? It’s not as though anyone here voted for him.

Rigged means falsified, which these aren't.

Spun means presented in a way, and at at a time, which reflects well on those presenting them.

All politicians spin. Few rig.

Who-ever followed Trump was always going to have to pick up the pieces of his mess, and see their own performance impacted by that demand. That's why whenever Biden is criticised it is an unfortunate necessity to look back to 2016 before making any judgements.

Trump lied. Biden spins. The result is the same. Blaming everything on the previous administration only works for a while.

I think Nellie might have given him a sly kick up the ar*s on the way out of the ring, though.

This is actually not a bad idea, I can just see him in the circus ring in a sparkly red an blue stars an stripes with a top hat and whip, his face fits .

Actually, you don't hear too much from the Biden team itself on Trump. I think they would rather he be seen as yesterday's man.

It's only people like me who try to sharpen the focus.

Trump lied every time he opened his mouth without a vetted script in front of him. He was never a politician. Biden is. He spins.

The Tasty jerk centre at Selhurst is more irish than Joe Biden.

His great great grandfather is from Mayo, his dna has Irish in it, he identifies as Irish, and obviously cares about the auld country by giving bungle a slapped wrist over tinkering with it via the trade deal. Thats good enough for me-to be sure!

You’d think the President would identify as American.

Isn't the Biden family actually more English than Irish?

I remember reading that they fought for the English in the past.

So much is myth that people want to believe than what the truth is.

Especially how the Irish past is portrayed in America....most of it being romanticized.

Good old Sussex boy but doesn’t want to admit it. Presumably not so many US voters with Sussex roots than Irish roots
