Joseph Joseph cooking utensils. Generally really really good. Good design and the right materials. Except we thought the JJ potato peeler was really poor, compared to stuff already on the market. And JJ stuff ain't cheap. Other companies have now jumped on the bandwagon with bright plastic utensils and ironed-out a few of the glitches with the JJ stuff, and a fair bit cheaper. Baked beans has to be Branston by a country mile.Bog rolls from Sainsbury`s 247 brand,scented too.If you suffer from hard water like us Yorkshire tea for hard water is lovely and doesn`t leave scum around the cup but not cheap.I`m starting to hear funny rumours about the new E10 fuel as well.

Just been to a large B&M (yesterday). Got loads of genuine food at less than half supermarket prices. Have also taken a chance on a few looky-likey items. Danepak butter (as opposed to Lurpak), ingredients % are very similar , but for half the price. Tinned stuff, like tomatoes and sweetcorn all for much less. (I am particular about baked beans, so stick with Heinz) Slippers, socks and woolly hats, all very cheap. The tool section was full of yellow and black stuff, labelled something like,..DeVelt. Also bought a couple of tins of shortbread from Aldi, a few doors away. Really cheap, and absolutely the best shortbread I've ever tasted. Melt in the mouth, rather than chewing a rock
