At least while you are preoccupied with your feeble attempts at trolling me, the others can have an adult conversation about the topic. I'm happy to draw your fire. You are just firing blanks, after all. Still can't explain it then.

Hrolf, once again, what would be the impact of widening the gene pool? I love the way you two university of life students have created a echo chamber where you think your both smart but run away from every debate.

This guy! He actually thinks that we haven't debated these issues for years with highly intelligent posters on Hol. But apparently we are running away from debates. For me, I'm just tired of posters who want to shout 'racist' and other buzz words and then think they have won something. He's getting like a Gusset 2.0. If I discuss this topic area I'd rather it was with more sensible posters. This thread doesn't have an agenda other than what's stated in the original post. It doesn't concern race or immigration and other posters only raised that as outshoot in relation to how technologies could affect poorer but hot parts of the world. It's not the point of the thread, still, this guy wants to suggest that to justify his takes, while taking absurd potshots at this harmless physicist. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Oct 2021 2.22pm)

Typical of time wasters, you ignore the evidence presented and then trot out a load of trite twaddle. I have told you exactly what you ask already. I suspect that what you accuse us of is in fact exactly what you are. Go and play with your PlayStation sonny.

Besides that would be fine by me....as I've stated before I'm a bit tired of it all. Anyway, what do you think about nuclear fusion and emerging technologies?

Very interesting. I don’t know very much at all about nuclear fission but I am interested in clean/new technologies - particularly now, as we come to realise how much we have destroyed the planet. It also strikes me, at this late stage, that we not only need scientists who are open, honest and transparent but also a world that works together, utilising each countries resources for the greater good. That is where I see the biggest issues occurring - human nature is such that new technologies will become something else to be traded with. There will be the haves and the have nots and little will change. Human Beings are a selfish virus, in my opinion.
