We have only won a game against a poor Spurs outfit and 10 men.

PV will be building hopefully on the defensive methods employed by RH, he was a great defender himself.

He seems very level-headed, well aware that football fans are either at your feet or at your throat.

"one season he scored four", what are you talking about ?
You clearly need to do a bit of research.

2019-20 season... He scored 4... Wasn't difficult was it?

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Roy lovers ?
Roy appreciaters I would say.
An honest, but on the whole, not really Premier League quality squad.
Practically zero money to spend.
And times when we were hit incredibly hard by injuries.
But under Roy, amazingly, we never even flirted with relegation.

Just like I wouldn't call those that recognise how terrible the standard of football was 'Roy haters'... Just supporters who want the team to aspire to something better... Really not unreasonable.

Anyway Roy is gone... As much as this clearly annoys you and you're probably desperate for Viera to fail it's happened and we look forward to better things.

But you have ignored the fact he scored 10 the season before that, and 11 the season after that.
More research required clearly.

Nope haven't ignored that have I??... You clearly don't read comments properly do you. I said earlier that on average Wilf scores between 5-10 goals a season and would in any side due to his natural ability. And that's clearly the case if you look at his goals scored statistics.

So no... More research is clearly not required but thanks anyway..

What annoys me is a clown like you saying I'm desperate for Vieira to fail ( at least I can spell his name), which is such a stupid thing to say.
I back whoever is in charge at Selhurst Park, and nobody is more delighted than me to see us finally bringing in some genuinely quality players, who got a fantastic result against Spurs.

Ah yes of course... When running out of stupid arguments resort to picking at spelling and grammar... Always a winner that one!

Just goes to show how much Roy neglected him, and some of the others. Thank God things are looking up at last and we're having an occasional shot on goal.

Of course that's utter baloney.
Naturally Palace are playing better , they have better players now.
They've spent more money in a month, than Roy had to spend in all the time he was at Palace.
And as I mentioned previously, without Roy managing our very under par squad, we would currently be in the Championship or worse.

Blaming the players is always a sign of a bad manager.

Cabaye, Zaha, Townsend, RLC, AWB, none of them good enough. Not to mention the poor guys time at England, we just don't have the same resources as Iceland.

As you ignored previously, when offered resources, he chose Bats over Gallagher.

If you miss him, don't worry, some badly run club will be stupid enough to employ the national embarrassment again, and we can all laugh at his next failure

That's baloney.
When did Roy ever put blame on any player ?
If it was Roy who chose Bats, and you've no way of knowing that, it would have made sense, because we had much more need for a striker than another midfielder.
And if you bothered to look ,you would see that Roy has had a hugely successful career.

RH did a good job in the main. But…..:

We mirrored England with RH in charge. A shambles when he took over and he fixed it. Followed by a period of stable that gradually declined until the Iceland game.

Good at fixing problems, not the person to take you forward.

If we had the same players as we do now and RH in charge then we’d have Kyuoate and Tomkins instead of Anderson or Gueri in defence and a midfield of MacArthur, Milo and I very much doubt Gallagher would get a look in.

I also think we wouldn’t have seen the team smell blood like they did at the weekend.
