A decent first half performance, only Wilf and Gallagher a goal threat, get them two waste of spaces of Ayew and Benteke, and bring Edouard and Olise on and the game is ours.

We may still end up in a relegation battle, but I think we looked great so far.

This team has so much more energy and intent than last year's. Watching matches last year was painful, this is entertaining, and the fans are into it.

Attacking Tottenham defence is definitely stopping them from forming an attack.

Really you are easily pleased.

Spurs are missing first team players and a fair few of them had traveled for international duty so they are not on it.

We look sloppy.

Having the ball a lot doesn't mean we are doing great what are we doing with it nothing.

Kouyate looks terrible he was the same in pre season why he is being selected is shocking.

Don't we have first team players missing? It's about the players on the pitch. That's who you have to beat.

That was a really good first half and although I would like to win the game, I would also be happy with a point right now, against a team that love to get points against us, are top of the table and haven't conceided a goal.

COYP..

This is the kind of Palace I like to see. HT stats of 59% possession; taking the ball into the opposition half, aggressive attacking; keeping the ball out of our defensive area and giving Vicente little to do. More please...just better finishing. Benteke needs to do better, sub off perhaps sooner rather than later and bring on Edouard? Discuss!

Obvious Troll.
Taking the game to Spurs instead of nervously defending.
Crosses need to be better and Ward's passing has deserted him when Gallagher has made a run.
But Wilf, Connor, Ayew all look sharp.
If Benteke doesn't get more into it then bring on Edouard.
But very very happy with the attacking intent.
Actually excited about Palace again.

Spurs looking average, we really should be ahead in this game and hopefully we can stick it to them in the second half. Dele Ali is average, so overrated, not the player he was. Kane sulking and barely had a touch.

Gallagher looking like the main man in this team, really enjoying watching him. Zaha grew into it. Enjoying it so far. COYP!

Give Benteke a revolver and ask him too walk into the woods

We look so different, and better, from last season. No goals yet, but we're saving them for the second half.

Surely we can find a way to sign up Gallagher. He is at the heart of everything.

Would like to see PV take off Benteke and bring on Edouard. He can't be worse.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Give Benteke a break - surrounded by 3 Spurs players every time it comes his way and has managed to get away some nice one touch passes. Keen to see better crosses for him second half.

Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but I thought Jermaine Jenus gave a fair assessment if the proceedings during the first half. Very balanced and in no way pro-Spurs (which is what I'd expected him to be).

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
