Draw wouldn't be a bad result. But with all their absentees, it's a game to target.

What's the team then? For me:

Guiata

Ward - Guehi - Andersen - Mitchell (would've been JS)

Luka - McArthur
Gallagher

Rak-Saki - Benteke - Wilf

I would have:

Guaiia

Clyne Guehi Anderson Mitchell

Gallagher Hughes McArthur

Rak-S Edouard Wilf

Subs, Butland,Ward,Tomkins,Hannam,Kouyate,Luka,Olise,Ayew,Mateta, Schlupp if he was fit

I would have Benteke serving the Oranges at half time but i think he may drop them

Has anythin been said regarding JRS? or is it just wishful thinking he'll be in the Starting lineup?

I'd want him to PLay, but I think he'll go with Ayew.

Ideal lineup, but that's maybe a few weeks away yet:

------------- Guaita
Ward -- Guehi - Anderson -- Mitchell
------- Gallagher -- Hughes
--------------Olise
-- JRS ----- Eduourd --- Zaha

likely lineup

------------- Guaita
Ward -- Guehi - Anderson -- Mitchell
- Gallagher -- Luka -- McArthur
Ayew ------------------------- Zaha
------------- Benteke

Probably the best time to play Spurs as they seem to have some injuries which may help our cause ... they still are a cracking side though.

I predict that if we can score a goal in the first half and go in 1-0 they will have to go for it in the second half ... which will hopefully give our attack some space to get some shots in.

So 1-0 or 2-0 would be a good win ... but in my heart I think a draw is the most likely result.

I think there'll be goals ... so going 2-2, which would be great progress and another point.

I am staggered (but heartened) by the number of optimists on here predicting a Palace win.

Love it to be so but, reality check, we've had only 3 matches and are bedding in. If Edouard and Hughes are included then a further few matches needed to get it all together as we have not reached the stage where the whole squad know each other.

Still, beat Spurs and then Arsenal and we will all have early Christmas presents !
