I don't know how much you have seen of Banks.

Great left foot and we've seen what he can do from free kicks.

However, in open play I think he has a lot to learn. His awareness and concentration levels need a lot of work.

Just my opinion, but I don't think he's close to being good enough for the first team.

Agree totally. Banks has some way to go. Watching his under twenty three efforts this year has been disappointing . Against Arsenal, he was roasted, and got sent off because he wasn’t coping without the use of blatant pull backs, I haven’t seen him impose himself on any game so far, there is a player in there but he must sharpen up impose himself on games more, and be all round more tactically aware . The free kicks have spoken for themselves, he has got talent
Where Rak Sakyi, is concerned , it’s still a case of if. He continues to amaze in certain situations such as some of the goals he scores, and his outstanding ability to go past defenders. He still doesn’t link , or bring others in to play as well as he could, IMO ,and we don’t yet get a clear idea of how aware he is in defensive situations, but if he doesn’t progress I wouldn’t just be disappointed but amazed.
Maybe not with us, being Premier league, is an enormous ask.

I think the telling thing is that JRS and Olise are only 10 months apart but the gap between them seems larger than their age difference.

We want JRS to be great as he's one of our own and he has good potential but I'd think it would be more beneficial for him to go out on loan in Jan when we have Olise and Eze at full fitness. Then he can get the game time he needs and build up the physicality and experience that Olise would have developed playing in the Championship that JRS lacks now.

Without Doubt, if you are good enough you are old enough, Should start getting 10/15 mins and starting after about 10/12 games, Rooney, Owen, Bellingham, Saka and many more, he needs first team time to build his confidence to go with his undoubted talent

You're talking about some of the best kids produced in the last 20+ years - if you think Rak Sakyi is comparable to a Rooney or Bellingham, you're dreaming.

Bellingham is younger than him and already has 8 England caps and is a Champions league regular.

Rooney was the best player at Euro 2004 when he was Rak-Sakyi's age now.

Worlds apart.

That coincides with Wilf, Ayew and Schlupp disappearing off to Afcon and it's conceivable that Olise will go to if he takes up Algeria as his first choice which is being rumoured.

Maybe he will get a few minutes in the first team, before he gets totally pissed off

Was impressed by him the few minutes he played in the season-opener against Chelsea (0-3).

This lad has talent and ability by the bucketload. He surely would deserve that Award, so good luck son.

I also thought PV would give him more opportunities with the first team by now. I fully understand PV needs to consolidate our position by using experienced players, but I'm hoping we'll see some appearances from RakSak later in the season.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
