Hardly moonlighting. Before the end of last season, he'd spent two years acting like a floor cleaner in full view on the pitch at Selhurst.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

£15M would be good business for either Personally I would go for Abraham. Edouard looks a bit lazy at times when playing for Celtic.

£15m wouldn't even buy you half of Abraham!

Again, neither is an improvement on Benteke.

In your view.

Not sure why the word “Again” is necessary?

He’s been a poor signing and despite a better return at the end of last season - has represented terrible value for money. That’s my view.

Your view is incorrect.

Even Harry Kane would not be that great in Palace setup the way Roy had people playing.

Benteke is a player who is limited package but the areas he is strong you use him correctly and he does his job (people always look at goals he has done far more then that yet constant moaning he is poor yet Wilf gets a free ride from the same people and he is really lazy a lot of the time)

Apologies - I used the word 'again' as I'd already made the same comment earlier in the thread. And will use it again if someone else decides to suggest that either of these two are an upgrade on our big ben.

Nice loyalty, but both are better than Benteke.

Have to disagree. Neither has as good an all round game as Benteke.
Both of those would have struggled big time in a team that was playing ithe way Palace have for some time now. OK his scoring record went down the drain, but that was also on the back of very few chances in the first place.
Bats, is a prime example of why these two would not fair better, And Mateta, is in danger going the same way if his all round play doesn’t improve, decent in the box, if the team can get them there, but offer nothing to a side that is limited in its style of play..

Edouard, all day. Personally I think TA is overrated, and even if he lives up to the hype, we can’t spaff £40m.
If Edouard is around £15m and we can double his wages and him still be one of our lower earners then it’s a no-brained, surely?
