Typical England performance. Score early then nothing. Sit back.

On the bright side 35 years of supporting Palace is good prep.

Still at least we won’t get Southgate as manager!

Cruel way for it to end. Sat back in the second half. Always a big chance of disappointment going to pens.

Did well to get to the final though. Have got to take positives from getting to the final, and it's a big learning experience.

If there's one thing that's a given with England, it's that they'll put us through it.

There are no positives. That the talk of a loser mate.

Losers go home and w@nk. Winners f@ck the prom queen.

Runners up means nothing. We were just the best loser

To not score any of the last three is criminal. Get rid of the manager. Don’t let any of the three c@nt who missed ever play for us again.

Rashford can f@ck off and make school dinners. C@nt

Well done England for getting as far as you did but when will modern players learn how to kick the ball 12 yards into the back of the goal. Instead of running up and kicking the ball so many seem to try to be too clever, stumble, stutter and end up with a very weak shot.

Henderson substitution did not work. His last PL game was in February this year and he looked as though he was carrying some weight.
Saka substitution did not work.
Italy far more impressive in possession.

What on earth was Saka doing taking that penalty ? A gargantuan pressure situation for such a young lad.He does not even take penalties for Arsenal and he did not have the most effective of games.

It is the worst possible way to lose. I'd rather us have gone out all guns blazing in normal time. We'd have likely won it with that attitude.

We crumble even more with pens than we do in normal time. We just can't afford to let it come to this.

Looked like Roy football and tactics o wait he was this guys mentor.

Southgate is not a good manager the media have over hyped him and tonight it really showed it.

Didn't even have a proper go at them in extra time with lots of fresh legs on/available.

I am not even going to get in to the disgraceful display of those pens.

That’s right. We almost gave up after scoring. You can’t defend for 88 minutes!

There might be some who question his use of substitutions tonight.
In my humble opinion, Mount should have been withdrawn far earlier.
Henderson very disappointing.
How on earth did they have Saka taking penalties ? I really felt sorry for the poor lad but he should not have been placed in that position.
