Well done Scotland finishing bottom never mind they got a point against England so they will still be celebrating that for years to come.

And if England should go on to win it (small chance but who knows) they’ll be claiming all kinds of credit for not losing against us.

should have four groups of four then quarter finals - this set up is rather pony

Agreed. It’s like dealing with three year olds, no one is a loser, everyone gets a participation medal

I doubt it Teddy.

England were rubbish against Scotland no argument from me on that I didn't think much of last night's game either we carry on like this will be be on the plane after the next game.

No my point was that Scotland could have beaten England so it was 2 points lost but they celebrated it almost as a win. I said they would regret it I always fancied Croatia to do the business.

Clark has done a relatively good job with a limited squad but still no progression from the first round after 11 tries.

Palace manager in waiting?

Someone just sent me this.

Fair play to Billy Gilmour he gave Scotland their only positive result in the tournament.

Sorry I couldn't resist that.

He seems pretty good, but seems keen on doing something with Scotland. Neither is an easy task.

Don't like to be petty but it's more likely to be a bus instead of a plane - more practical seeing as we're at home. In hindsight I can see I was a bit extreme in my view - but some have pointed out Scotland played better v England cos they were less direct than they were in the other games.

Southgate and England play against the occasion rather than the opposition. We saw that against Scotland and I’m pretty sure we will see the same against Germany, although I live in hope we won’t try and defend our way to victory.

Maybe I was right the first time - the Danish are superior individually but even more superior collectively to the Welsh, and the Welsh manager is a PE teacher in disguise, and not a very convincing one.

Really poor game though.

An insight into the Welsh mentality,....

I went to the chip shop at 6.30pm Saturday. Closed.

I nipped over the road to get some bread from the shop, which was devoid of customers. There was half a crate of assorted beers in front of the counter.
"Oh, you want some bread. Just let me check the date on that, because I've been too busy selling beers today", said the lady behind the counter. "I'm only working today because I'm the only one who doesn't like football or rugby".
I walked home past a noisy and full pub, and got some takeaway chips from there.
People still happy and smiling and chatting away (keeping to distancing rules).

One can but hope English fans might behave in a similar fashion in the next game.

I disengage, I turn the page.

How do they react to getting beaten at rugby?
