Unjustified, unfair and unkind.

Agreed

We could take a right-back on loan, but it is starting to look ominously like Jack Hunt MkII, a right-back who arrived with much promise and then never played for us in three years.

The big difference is that Jack Hunt arrived injury free then broke his ankle in training here whereas Ferguson arrived already injured.

When it rains it pours. This is absolutely unbelievable bad luck.

That's our 2 investments in the future pretty much done for next season.

I had mild optimism of the rebuild ahead after the Villa game... this has quickly turned to dread.

If we paid on our Credit Card we can get our money back.

Arrived injured, got fit, got injured, got fit and now injured again. He along with Dreyer, Sakho, Tomkins and Wickham appear to be perennial injury stricken players.

There is definitely something wrong with our training regime, we simply cannot be consistently so unlucky.

I feel very sorry for Ferguson whose career has been blighted by injury and I wish him a full recovery. It must be devastating for the young chap.

Devasting news! If our bad luck continues like that we can start the next season under the name "CRYSTAL HosPitAL ACEs". Best luck for the boy!

There has to be an urgent review of our medical and conditioning staff.

It's got beyond a joke now and has made next season all the more challenging before it's even started!!

This has been an ongoing problem for years and should have been done about 10 years ago.

We are always there or there abouts leading the injuries' league, few of those injuries' are sustained in actual games and recovery (if there is any) is many months more than players at other clubs.

Investing in the academy is brilliant but this is of equal importance. Otherwise, all you are doing is fast tracking young talent direct from the academy to the physio room without once touching the First XI. No young players are going to take that risk.

I would be surprised if this poor lad ever plays for us. 2 players same injury in a week. Issues with the playing surface?

These injuries are NOT coincidental. There is an underlying issue that demands to be addressed, and it's costing the club a considerable amount of money.

Now, with such an obvious and visible cost, it must be the responsibility of those who invest in the club to rectify the situation.

So, if you the investors are reading this, what do you propose to do about it?

My guess is you neither read the forums, nor care sufficiently enough to rid the club of this plague.

The next 12 months will illustrate perfectly your chosen stance.

Not for the first time, people are jumping to the conclusion that our medical set up must be at fault. What technical expertise or experience do any of us have to offer a view exactly?

And please don't tell me that it can't be bad luck alone. Why can't it? Yeah we've had more injuries than other clubs, but that's how bad luck works.

To lose one player to an Achilles injury in training is unfortunate. To lose two, in the space of a week, sounds like carelessness.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
