Devastating news - especially as he has really hit top form over the last few games.

Our strength and conditioning team need looking at urgently, every season we pick up a myriad of serious injuries to our squad. It can't just be bad luck.

Totally agree. Especially since reportedly Bielsa at Leeds has very hard/long training sessions to prep the team for his high tempo game plan and they don't seem to have any problem handling it. Why can't we? Unless we have to infer that conditioning is not closely managed by the team and the players are expected to do it in the main on their own?

I've said it before and I'll sadly end up saying it again, Scott Guyet is the problem. He is part of the furniture and well-liked but his atrocious record is damning. I am praying that the nee manager is able to bring in his own fitness and conditioning team because we desperately need it.

Yes, yes, yes. The worst record in the Prem by a mile for multiple long-term injuries.1

At least he won't be injured on international duty.

Can't understand why training has to be taken to breaking point. The bean counters should be aware that such methods cost more money than they think - although that does assume that they do actually take injury costs into consideration.

Do we know the results of the scan? Having played Sunday, perhaps we should have given them 2 days off!

Exactly my thoughts. Monday off and then light training on Tuesday. But what do I know?

My player of the year quite comfortably, if for no other reason than the jou he brings.

Could it be the training pitch they use?

Or could it be that the players are playing too often and are knackered?

Doesn't happen so often at other clubs.

Shame we got rid of Max Meyer. With Eze out & a new manager incoming, now would be the perfect time to use him.

We're the Arthur over ere!

A depressingly familiar outcome, based on my (almost) 49 years of supporting this club.

We must suffer more injuries in training than actually playing games!

Really big blow for him, and the supporters. We finally get a new real talent and this happens. Just cross everything that it not too serious and he will make a full recovery - albeit probably not in time for. the start of the new season.
