'Wish You Were Here' 1987 - Emily Lloyd, Tom Bell. A fine evocation of life in a drab seaside resort, it is based on the life of Cynthia Payne and her rebellious childhood in Worthing. Very much recommended.

How very dare you! Me and my mother have been coming to Selhurst Park for 25 years and I have never been so insulted! Just because a man wears a little foundation, takes time on his appearance, you automatically accuse him of hiding the sausage and being a Brighton fan?! Well, I find you impertinent. worthing town centre / shops is pretty crap & rundown. Never ventured into the town centre but the walk along the seafront, certainly west of the pier, is pleasant and usually plenty of parking

Eastbourne was God’s waiting room along the seafront and occupying nearby property and hotels. Catch the crossings wrong and you could be stuck there for ages waiting for them to get across. Or catch the crossings right, you could be another Harold Shipman

I was always impressed with their ingenuity. For example, take an ordinary burger, add a slice of tinned pineapple and hey presto, it turns into an Hawaiian Burger.

Worthing has lots of restaurants. Great place to have a 30th birthday bash as the grandkids eat for free.
