'Wish You Were Here' 1987 - Emily Lloyd, Tom Bell. A fine evocation of life in a drab seaside resort, it is based on the life of Cynthia Payne and her rebellious childhood in Worthing. Very much recommended.

I was always impressed with their ingenuity. For example, take an ordinary burger, add a slice of tinned pineapple and hey presto, it turns into an Hawaiian Burger.
