If you reckon other leaders have a better moral compass you are wrong. Many labour politicians and associated are just sneakier and employ a great cancel culture to keep it quiet.

You see I have always taken the view that it is everyone's democratic duty to vote for the candidate who would represent the people in the constituency most effectively. All the people and not just me, or my family. Nor just along party lines, although that obviously plays a part. One of the biggest problems I see is that people think "their" candidate has "won" so then expect what they want to be delivered and not what is actually in the country's best interests. As ultimately what ensures success for the country is what is usually best for myself and my family the two are perfectly compatible. But the emphasis is interesting.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

If you are in a position to be empathetic to your local area then fair play. Many people can't and human nature is to be selfish to one's own needs.

It's called a conversation/debate, that usually involves more than one contributor. Back on topic, you don't seem to be able to deny my claim, instead changing the subject. Maybe I've hit a sore point.

Maybe I've hit a sore point. I don't know the whole population of the UK so it's a bit difficult. I'm sure there are plenty of selfish people who don't even vote. My sore point is reached if you touch me beer or fags so you may struggle to get there on a forum. Still I guess your life must be very simple as you give away any spare cash each month to the unselfish. This is how it comes across che.
