Anyone noticed how quickly broccoli goes off? You buy it on a wednesday and its gone yellow by sunday for your roast, lucky i"m very well organised and bought a back up on friday, but still makes you wonder whats going on . Broccoli is also not a natural plant, its made up by crossing this with that, who knew? Has also been a problem in our home. Now cured by using frozen broccoli. Also handy when buying beer from a supermarket chill cabinet. I thank you.

Anyone remember potato puffs? They were 2p a packet, very light and airy, but tasted great! Stopped making them about 15 years ago, used to buy them by the box, tried to search for them but ceased making them.

Very disappointed with the Hedgehog Crisps, they tasted nothing like Hedgehog I would say they were more like Badger. Originally posted by Teddy Eagle

My recollection of the five centres is hazy, but I have fond memories of the Fry's Five Boys, each piece with a different expression. I associate that bar with Saturday Morning Pictures at Sutton Granada. Sixpence downstairs, ninepence upstairs where you could throw things on the kids below in the cheap seats. And what happened to Jubbly? Orange drink in a pyramid carton.

The thing with them was that it was easy to slurp all the flavour out and be left with a lump of ice which wasn’t as much fun.
