I had to take a member of Marmalade to hospital when he head butted a ceiling on stage. My mate used to be their road manager. A long night with plenty of claret but they finished the gig first.

Fa Cup final replay 1990, we were only given 14000 tickets on the saturday and nearly won it , but one of the best cup finals ever, on to the thursday, we had 45000 there, played in black and yellow, and didn"t show up, it was torture, watching the clock wind down, completely different to the sayurday with 31000 more palace there! Me and my pal got surrounded by the cockney reds on the tube heading for euston where they thought palace might be for some reason, then benjys in mile end. Had to climb over their legs on seats when train got in to baker st, they just stared at us, cornered in window seats, black bob was there, alas, got away unscathed, but gutted at the result!

My dad had tickets to a 60s golden oldies special at a half empty Fairfield hall. But his mate was ill so I said I would go instead. The line up was thin on the ground to say the least. Paper Lace as the backing band, Chris Montez and possibly the seekers? But the highlight was when Chris Farlowe (out of time fame) slowly came on stage dressed in a grey prison issue track suit and slippers shuffling to the mike breathing very heavily. He had to lean on the mike to catch his breathe, an old lady in the front row got up walked over to him and asked him if he was ok.

50 cent at reading festival 2004. It used to be a rock festival and the crowd were waiting all day to throw piss at him. As green day were in after. Fair play to him he did his minimum amount of songs before walking off still under a shower of cups of piss... Craig david boring live. Guns n roses at Wembley 92 almost deafened me
4 playoff finals, Claridge, Hopkin, Shipperley, Phillips.... Life's never dull! |

I was at that gensis concert but a third of the way back about 20 rows up from where i was sitting Paul young did ok and an added bonus Billy Joel joined him on stage to duet on every time you go away you take a piece of meat with you. The thing i remember before the gig the video camera kept encouraging big breasted girls to flash there assets cant quite believe a lot of them did this was long before the me to movement. Genesis that night were on top form and Phil Collins was probably at his peak as a performer.

Husker du at the riverside in Newcastle. Legendary band legendary venue what could go wrong? I'll tell you what. Erect billion candle power lighting strong enough to illuminate the world and direct it at the crowd. Took days for the headache to clear. I also fell fast asleep watching Robert cray. And the tindersticks and fleet foxes were both made for listening only not watching. Dull live. Finally a girl of my past was a great fan of the alarm. Saw them 5 times. 5 bloody awful experiences. What we do for love eh?
