I iron my own shirts too. Tom, you should stick to cutting down trees or whatever manly-men like you do to feel good about themselves. Originally posted by palace chick

I do get the impression that in the main, our supporters do not believe we will finish in the relegation places. In our next 4 PL games,3 of our opponents are in the top 6 and A.Villa who are currently not in that position are above us and have 2 games in hand on most of the teams. Our position in the table might not look so encouraging after those run of games. Furthermore we have an ageing squad and this season will place great demands on them from a physical standpoint possibly leading to fatigue and we could well suffer injuries to key players. It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that we could well get immersed in a relegation battle and ultimately lose our PL place.

Hi Willo ref the comments about ageing squad every Saturday the times publishes a list of teams players missing because of injury Palace have been top by a long way since the start of the season. So we do have quite a few still to come in including proven players eg Tomkins so i am optimistic ,at the start of the season i was very concerned but we already have 17 points 6 more wins might well be enough.

Whats the definition of a housewife? A, Its a gadget you can screw on the bed. Boom boom. Now, females at footie are not only pleasing, but, they actually can give us blokes a run for our money with their 'knowledge' about footie. Lets face it tho, who the hell can have or why have meaningful convo with a female at half/full time & get that reply to start a discussion that only WE, as males understand. luvsya becky xxx

First it was women, then the middle classes, now it’s f@cking tourists. Football used to be wall to wall working men. Lads through to grandads. I started going with my grandad, lovely fella. Blokes who had football in their blood. Soon we will all be sitting on cushions sipping cocktails.

I don't actually miss having to fight my way out of QPR, Millwall, Charlton etc. Not sure I'd even be able to any more. And at least the tourists and women give us some eye candy. I also don't miss being squashed against those barriers.
