Under new rules that came into force as of midnight on Wednesday people are allowed to enter and leave on condition a mandatory smartphone application powered by a mix of data tracking and government surveillance shows they are healthy and have not been in contact with anyone infected recently.

We have a blame and claim world at the moment even with all the fake and misinformation. The point you might be missing is that most people are aware of what you say is happening. Most probably arnt necessarily fully happy about it but it suits where they are. How would telling people we are 8 hours from a meteor strike or one button away from a war help. It cannot be selective truths it has to be everything if we go down your road. Very dangerous indeed. Or is it only the financial bit that you are on about?

I'll repeat as you're obviously too dumb to get it the first time around.......The media that you trust has never once mentioned Sept 17th 2019, the largest bloody financial meltdown in history. But you know better. As has already been pointed out what you seem to be referring to has been "mentioned" by the MSM. However, they haven't reached the sensationalist conclusion that you have. So does that make me, or maybe even you, dumb? Whether it was "the largest bloody financial meltdown in history" is very clearly a matter of opinion. I am no economist so who do I trust? A few memes on the web written by sources unknown? Or respectable, experienced, knowledgeable journalists with editors and lawyers backing them up? Of course it could all be a mega conspiracy involving governments around the world who have managed to convince all the news outlets not to question things. You back your horse if you like and consider me dumb for not doing so.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Read the comments and then ignore. Do you think these "journalists" are in no way culpable for this?

Yes but what would the the reaction be if the same system was implemented here? Firstly it assumes everyone owns a smartphone and secondly there was quite a reaction when ID cards were suggested let alone government tracking of people’s movements.

Trustpilot is one of the most biased piece of garbage to surface on the net in recent years. Do you not realise how it can be, and frequently is, manipulated? Companies pack it with positive comments and "action groups" (even those who don't formally exist) do the reverse when they want to damage a reputation. I made a negative comment about a scam company who were defrauding people and they fought tooth and nail with Trustpilot to have it removed, whilst posting clearly self written glowing recommendations themselves. This company are now under investigation with the financial authorities and people have lost their savings. I would wager a penny against a few quid that the latter is what has happened here for a 91% negative rating in no way represents how the vast majority actually feel. Just reading the first few comments tells you that those responding all have a strong anti BBC bias.

In the absence of truth and living in a low trust society what are you supposed to believe? People know they are being lied to on a daily basis. bang on the money. Weasel words are everywhere
