Thanks for reminding this

Cruise will be a thing of the past. Apart from people being more wary of them for a couple of years at least, Carnival the cruise ship operator aren't eligible for a Government bail-out in the US as they're registered in Panama to escape paying tax and getting around minimum wage regulation. As are a number of cruise lines, apparently. Incorporating offshore may have seemed a good idea at the time, but not so much when you need the taxpayer's help. Oh, and a barrel of oil is now cheaper than a pint of beer in Canada.

Which, in my book, doesn’t involve travelling throughout Europe and beyond just to get access to the NHS and benefits. Vast majority are most definitely economic migrants

Cos that has already been strained with everybody asked to hide at home for the common good. Edited by PalazioVecchio (02 Apr 2020 1.48pm)

I can see the world morphing already, though i have no idea if changes are permanent, or what the eventual outcome will be. More centralised media control by the Government. More centralised control of public services. Growing reliance on IT/social media as travel restrictions begin to grip on a global basis. Morphing on a large scale of shopping, social and leisure activities. Manipulation of the population. Let's all go outside and clap into the air at 8pm today,....like that's going to do any f-king good. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (09 Apr 2020 10.20am)
