I dread to think of the ailment that produced the symptoms that made the use of Bronco necessary. Your friend's name wasn't Bill by any chance?
I cannot assert that I am willing to spend any time speculating as to the ailment but clearly the discomfort must have been distressing. Edited by Willo (24 Mar 2020 11.21am)

I tried that once, did not enjoy the experience. Then someone told me it was best to use a new, unused sheet.

Having Izal in schools, meant it kept the kids 'regular'.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

I was in school in the 60s, but hand on heart I have no recollection whatsoever of any experience of the use of toilet paper in this establishment. Originally posted by Willo
I have no recollection whatsoever of 'Bronco'. I think that we get the picture

Apropos, running water as opposed to toilet paper, I believe it was in Greece, perhaps in more than one hotel, that guests were requested not to flush the toilet paper down the pan but to place it in the bin.The thought of toilet paper left in the room after defecation did NOT fill me with any glee.I readily admit that I never considered running water!

That’s an easy one Willo. It is, or was, the custom in many countries and is the reason they cut people’s right hand off for committing crimes - apart from the obvious disfigurement it means no one will socialise with that person, let alone eat in their company so they become outcasts.
