Once again I am a very long way from being "leftish" in any way. I loath left wing politics with just as much disdain as I do far right ones.

All I have said is what is quite obviously true. Our current politics have a few echoes in them of those which were around in the 1930s. We all, whatever our political views, need to be alert to this.

As anyone who knows me will know that is a ridiculous suggestion to make of me. I have absolutely no problem at all to see anyone coming from a different ethnic background succeeding. In fact I feel very proud when I see it happening.

My objections have only to do with her suitability to do the job.
