Then put Mike Kelly in central defence.

Is this Mike Kelly that you have referred to more than once related to Martin Kelly who is currently playing at right back for us?

Neither do I. Another waste of a space. If Wickham stays fit he is better as is Ayew. Tosun has done nothing and couldn't get in a poor Everton side.
If this is our ambition then Dougie needs to go to the job centre!

Batsman is also looking very close would be a loan then part of the Zaha deal in the summer.

So our forwards next season could look like this:

Tosun
Batshuayi
Ayew
One other

Hopefully will also have a fit Townsend. Looks like we may be changing our style. Maybe with the potential takeover, a change of manager as well? (I am not knocking Roy, I am a big supporter of his) but maybe this season has really taken it's toll on him. I would like to see him offered something "upstairs" at the club

Tosun is on 60k a week at Everton that is our pay scale. Benteke, Sakho, Meyer and Wilf the 100k plus wage earners will all be gone in the summer with restructuring of the pay out goings, it has to be done unless a new money bags owner is found

Would much prefer Chalov he's certainly the most mobile player linked.

I really thought we'd dodged one there.

I cant see the problem with Tosun if he is just a six month loan, a 3 year contract is another thing

I am not bothered that he turned us down for Everton they are a bigger club.

A loan deal with an option to buy seems good business. I was not impressed when Ayew came but Roy has Hodgenised him into the bargain buy of the season.

Another poster made a really good point that 15+ goals a season striker outside of the top 6 clubs is a rarity.
If that is the case then a hard working striker that scores 10+ goals is what we are looking at on our budget so he may just fit the picture and if he doesn't we send him packing in the summer.

We were meant to be buying players who were around twenty three years old ! Not loaning twenty eight year olds who are of doubtful quality.

Didn't Michy Bats turn us down originally when he opted for Chelsea. Tosun, for the fee we received for Dwight Gayle seems ridiculously cheap for a proven international striker.

Meyer's not on 100k a week. Dominic Fifield dispelled this myth ages ago and many people have also said this since then.
Reported to be 60k a week (which is still too much).

If you look on [Link] it has all the wages by club I am not saying it is all spot on but a lot seems correct I don't know his would be so wrong. Dominic Fifield isn't always 100% like everyone.
