If someone comes in with a decent offer for Sakho we should let him go. But I'd rather let Cahill and/or Dann go, because of they are 33 and Sakho is 30. Really it depends on who other clubs are looking to buy. Similarly, if Kouyate goes it wont be worth worrying to much about. McArthur is now 32. He's been a great servants and I admire his effort, but he won't last forever. Similarly if one or two of Meyer, Reidewald, Kouyate, McCarthy go it wont be too bad for the club. Again it depends on who wants our players. Age is the driving factor for me. Benteke, Wickham, even Ayew wouldnt be a big loss. I still have some hope that we might get a new manager in who might play to Benteke or Wickham's strength at some point next season, actually making use of £40m worth of combined investment. But if Benteke goes, it would leave us with no out and out striker and we'll get stung if we dont already have a replacement set up. The problem with a lot of supporters is that whilst they are crying out for investment. They also kick up a huge fuss if a fringe player or two have to leave to free up the wage bill. You’ve put way too much thought into age alone and not enough thought into form, ability and wage If you just go and sell the oldest players in the team that happen to be the most consistent then good luck to ya

That’s just my opinion of him presently. Innis and Jach...I don’t think any amount of loans will get them to the desired ability. Innis looks way too slow for anything above league two. Woods loaned? Didn't hear. Where to? Last I heard he was on the bench for the post lockdown matches.

But if a player has only got one season left where they are likely to be fit for 50% of that year then I dont think they add much value. Particularly when our squad is a time bomb. It's a balance. Defensively in terms of wage and appearances Meyer is probably top of the list to go, but I doubt anyone will come in for him.

I would keep Jairo as he can, at least pass the ball. Has also filled in at LB when required

According to Dazza we have interest in Edouard, but even if the £40m would come down to £30m after negotiations that is I suspect way above our price range? According to Dazza, we are negotiating with Mainz about Mateta? If that comes off, great. But if not, not sure who we'd turn to, as Watkins looks likely (rumour has it!) to sign for Villa. Possibly Bats as he seems to be very rapidly becoming surplus to requirement at Chelsea, and his asking price and salary accordingly lowered?

I suspect we have a decent relationship with the club because of our prior dealing so it's just a matter of the price the player already knows the club. If no one offers what they want and they decide to drop the price I fancy our chances.

If he comes to Palace he knows he will be first choice striker, so this is all about the money if Chelsea compromise I am optimistic. If it happens it will probably be late in the window when Chelsea realise no one will pay their price.
