All been done and makes no difference. Similarly, it’s fairly obvious a protest in Hyde Park has nowhere near the impact. The disruption caused is kind of the point... Again; their protest is to policy makers, not individuals. I never said it was easy but just because you don't get your way that is no justification for throwing democracy and the rule of law out of the window. If they want to be taken seriously by the majority then they should start having some serious policies. Protesting only gets you so far at some point you have to decide if it's better to P*ss outside the tent then into it.
One more point |

There is an embarrassing lack of substance to what these people represent.

Time will tell, but I’d suggest they’ve gone a long way to achieving that already.

And a couple of years later imported coal cost a lot more than our own. But at least she told off the northerners and the Welsh for following the wrong political party. A true champion of the environment was Thatcher - if you call the City of London the environment. Demand fell because of North Sea oil and gas, neither are labour intensive.

Good on ‘em I say. I’m not usually too enamoured with protesters, but I like the cut of their jib. Already made some gains (PM promise to be carbon neutral by 2050). Hopefully more to follow, we need it.

Messing up London for two weeks is not endearing most Londoners to the cause.

But there’s no reason why the west can’t show the way forward.

'The prime minister’s father, Stanley Johnson, has told a crowd at Extinction Rebellion’s London demonstrations that he backs their methods and is proud to call himself an “uncooperative crusty”.' Boris definitely the 'black sheep' of the family.

Just a heads up to any other 'Vets' on here. It is being reported that ER are planning to block/hinder HRH The Queen (our boss) on monday 14th on her way to deliver her speech to the useless leeches in Parliment. This will NOT happen. The Vets are forming up along the route to protect HM& assist the Police in keeping order. We will also surround ALL memorials to protect them from being defaced by ER as they have previously. All welcome,BUT, peaceful & respectful please.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
