And the Southey brewery in Penge...

I am in the Upper Holmesdale and I usually go down to queue about 5 mins before half time. This has 2 advantages, firstly I get a beer and can consume it before the start of the second half. And secondly I don't have to witness the inevitable goal we concede just before half time.

I pre order my half time beer in the upper holmesdale, did you not realise you can do this?

When ever we have done this we had no beers, too many beers ! etc fiasco. As has been said prevously some experienced bar staff & some beers poured before the half time whistle should really not be beyond the capability of the staff. They must know what their average sales figures are for each type & could start getting them ready. Have given up trying to have a beer at half time totally now. Surely the extra revenue would be useful as well.

I know its not as important as the beer order's and suchlike, but why the feck do they remove the caps off of the soft drinks.......???
Me n me daughter always have a coke or fanta but have to drink them more-less straight away as they tend to lose their Fizz pretty quickly or get knocked over if we put em on the floor at our seats......could do with cup or bottle holders.
It may seem trivial to most but I take Amitriptyline, which causes very dry mouth,so to be able to sing n swear with ease i keep a bottle of coke/fanta with me.
I now employ the " Take me own lids into the ground " to use just to stop having me drinks spilt before we finish them........but others are not so prepared and i've seen others having to hold their bottles, what do they think we're gonna use them as a missile n throw em on the pitch.........Thats why I thought they brought in the no cash ideal so hoping that knobheads wont be able to throw coins onto the pitch, that i fully understand but come on plastic bottle caps ....really.
Apologies for moaning I shall now retreat to me stone.

In common with many venues they take the cap off so you don't drink the contents then wee in the bottle, pop the cap back on and lob it.

Thought you were meant to leave the top off when you lob it? :p

Bring back the Percy Dalton's peanut guys, and bring your own hipflask.

And there's Parish in a nutshell; micromanaging beer at half-time, but can't manage a transfer window, a wages bill or a building project.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!
