We'll absolutely smash them 1-0.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Softens the blow when it happens. Smart money.

Agreed, I got 11/2 on relegation 4 week ago (pre-empting the transfer window disappointment).

even though he’s not playing. That’s if Everton start it off, which I bet they do. Could be very odd. Better than him leaving and them singing it at us, especially if we didn’t replace him with good buys.

We should be singing:
‘He’s costs too much for you’

I am hoping that Roy has come up with a new tactical masterplan to revitalise our home form which wouldn't take a great deal mainly along the lines of attack more and pass the ball forward rather than backwards and sideways. Also get more players into space and play at a faster tempo. It's not rocket science.

1-1

D'oh... and I always wondered why it needs years of study, masters etc just to get a kids trainer licence when it was that easy...

1-0 Palace. Benteke/Ayew to score, I don't care which but it will silence all you doom merchants on here. Get behind the club again.

Football in theory is a very simple and easy game but in these modern times there is just so much tactical waffle and over reliance on statistics and managers love to over complicate things. The most daft thing is seeing a coach showing a sub an IPAD of tactics just as he is about to come on with the sub looking confused. Ridiculous when you think about it

I think it'll be 1-3 Everton,as others have said the best we can hope for is to drown out the pitch with a narrow 5-5-0 formation and keep it tight. Home form will hopefully get better than last season, I'm kind of happy that peoples expectancy levels are lower this term though

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

..and to another teammate! No one can blame Hodgson's masterplans when the players he has available find it almost impossible to be able to complete simple passes to each other ..not Hodgsons fault last season, he has to work with what he has to work with, hopefully the two worst offenders will be replaced.
