Started early this season. Or perhaps never stopped.

Poor result.

A player like Jairo must look in the mirror and think wtf happened man!

So, transfer deadline day should be fun yet again.

Before kick off, we were 1/5 to win the game with Barnet at 10/1. I saw the line up and had a fiver on Barnet. Didn’t look too good after 10 minutes but came through.

Everyone in here slating Palace, it was our kids with 3 seniors and a new signing. First team would’ve been fine.

They are a national league side, losing is one thing but dropping a 2-0 lead to lose 6-2 is disgraceful at whatever time of the season it is.

2-6 will surely act as a wake-up call. But usually when top teams sail through pre-season winning, the opposite happens when they start fighting for the points.
Palace has always enjoyed being the underdog - no reason to change that. Only hope the transfer wallet is opened soon and we get a right back (Clyne?) and a prolific striker in.
Not worried though, add Max M and Wilf to the team and we are in business.

The most worrying things about this are firstly, Dreher and Woods were both dreadful and they appear from inclusions in recent squads to be the closest of the youngsters to making the the step up to being around the first team. Secondly, Sorloth, once again despite his eagerness to run around like a headless chicken is not good enough even at this level.
The way Roy was sitting down for most of the second half I think brought it home that we are going to need to spend to improve the overall squad depth.

This really shows what a weak squad we have in terms of depth. If we get another injury crisis like we had a couple of seasons ago where we struggle to field 11 players then we are bang in trouble as none of that lot last night would have shown Roy they have what it takes for Premier League football.

If ever there is any reason to get new players in then this is it and it's no good getting average journeymen like Ayew we need players who can come in and perform well.

Are you lot for real. That was a reserve team out on the pitch, not even first team squad players (Bar Wickam). You would swear it was our strongest 11. Get a hold of yourselves.
