Steven Gerrard has said that if a club is interested they need to bid big and early in the window as he won't be released late due to the time factor involving a replacement. This is precisely the stance that we should take in relation to Zaha.

Totally agree Willo.. we don't need to sell Wilf so we don't need to drop our asking price either.. getting someone like Morelos in is important for our club too.. hopefully we will have both at our club this season..

I thought I'd look at his goals and to be fair most are tap ins, but more interestingly I had a look at a video showing his bookings and sending-offs. In fairness to him he does seem to be suffering from a reputation over reality situation with bookings for diving when they were penalties and sending-offs when he didn't actually deserve it. The only one that seems that bad is the elbow right at the end. Two of the red cards are definitely not warranted. I'm starting to come around to the lad as he looks like a menace and has that arrogance that can make a great striker. I thought I'd look at his goals and to be fair most are tap ins, but more interestingly I had a look at a video showing his bookings and sending-offs. Have to say I have my doubts.

However I will admit that is a very good point, there is a Luis Suarez feel to him, who before Liverpool was in a 'much less competitive league'. A player I wouldn't brake for but would love to have on my side.

He's the kind of player you dread scoring against you for being such a cvnt... and then does. Warming to the idea of having one of those at Palace.
