Aarons would always be the first name on the teamsheet, if in alphabetical order.

They have only safeguarded his price for the future as we did with Wilf. He probably will move on in a year's time and signing him to a long contract means they should not get bullied on price. We're we really interested? Appears no bid made, or I missed it. Probably paper talk again. No SKY sources either.

I would be amazed if its not Jenkinson, Cheap, Unwanted, Capped by Roy for England, its got our name all over it.

Unfortunately I also think it could be Jenkinson.
I don’t believe he’s even as good as Ward and to compound the indignity Jenkinson turned us down a couple of years ago apparently over wages.
A young promising right back would surely be a better option.
We have the experience of Kelly and Tomkins to also play right back in an emergency if Ward was unavailable and the young player wasn’t ready.
I’d prefer we focus our (limited) resources on attacking positions.

I heard early in the window he had been under consideration but not heard of any developments on this score.

Will be quite a wrench for him to leave Arsenal as he and his family are fervent Arsenal supporters.
I suspect our supporters will not react with any positivity if a deal is concluded.

I would go the younger player route, Jayden Bogle at Derby would be ideal, 18, a full season at Derby behind him with 9 assists also, would be less than 10million I suspect.

A converted winger who likes to burst forward.A work in progress defensively.

Man utd linked as back up to awb. Qed we then linked as awb replacement. Surprised if this ever left the news feeds blogs or febrile message boards.

I think that is it exactly. It is what we did with Zaha, AWB even Murray to an extent extend contract so buying club has to pay going price or he stays. Now it has now been done to us. Also Norwich would not have bought a replacement already if it was not a possibility he could be sold
