Wel, he's not really a Zaha type of wide midfielder either.

He only played in a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 as a wingback.

Not really that good offensively to play what Zaha or Townsend play.

And unknown how good defensively in a back 4 instead of a back 3 or 5.

Understandable, he will always be a palace legend regardless if he stays or goes.

Two points:
1) Why would Norwich sell him to us for that:
2) Why would he want to join Palace

1) they could invest more money in staying up
2) because they are a more established prem team and have a better chance of staying up.

My point (which has been missed) is I don’t think we should waste €20m on an average RB. I follow the Italian league and this guy is hardly pulling up any trees.

I think in modern football, the position of rb/lb you need pace, you need to be quick. You play against the fastest players. I’ve seen milk floats do a u-turn quicker than this guy. He will get found out and for the money there is much better out there.

Plus do we really want to spend half the AWB money on a rb

Fairly excited if he’s gonna have PVA qualities.

Anyone else any thoughts on this guys quality?
