I hope they are looking at the right person. Not Jerry the Saint Sinclair from Phoenix Knights

Sinclair was IN 'The Saint' in the 60's(for those of a certain age)

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Wasn’t that Lord Brett Sinclair, played by Roger Moore in The Persuaders?

(You’ve got to love the close season!)

I agree, but this requires a thorough overhaul. If Zaha went you would need two players to replace him - a Che Adams/Neil Maupay/Ollie Watkins type versatile forward who can play anywhere in the front three and an out and out right winger like Maximin. You need a proper replacement for AWB, Castagne or Aarons, and crucially two midfielders who can keep the ball, McTominay for 35ish mil and Serri on loan, apart from
luka our midfield is flaky and disjointed - jimmymac/Schlupp/Meyer and kouyate are all squad players, luka is the only one you could call a reliable first teamer - 5 players costing roughly 100mil, leaving us with 20-25mil surplus prob if Wilf goes for 75/80k. But losing Wilf demands serious, in-depth and immediate restructuring of the squad. Some big salaries on some too long contracts, so it's not easy for Parrish & co to balance the books, if a few drains on the wages could be moved on that would make life easier, but you can understand the owners not wanting to spend big before they offset the costs.

Not sure why I keep hearing McTominay mentioned. There is zero chance, Utd rate him highly and as much as I love Palace why would he come to us when he could easily go to a bigger club.

The Queen supports Crystal Palace. Perhaps she'll buy the club then legitimately all the money in England shall be ours. Plus all the swans.

If Watford get this guy and then we sell Wilf we'll have made a proper balls up, which wouldn't surprise me lol

Genuinely not bothered by if we sign him or not.

He's a good youtube player with little end product.

I'd sooner we concentrated on players with less step overs and more end product.

Bowen from Hull a much more sensible idea......also would not need the Frenchman if Wilf stays !!

A million %. So glad this has been mentioned. He is similar to Maddison and is Hull’s only really player. Great number 10, can score and create goals and would have a point to prove by the step up

Alain Saint-Maximin looks like he has zero end product. Got a step over in the locker, but that’s it. I would pass and prefer we go for players like Bowen. Cheaper and can unlock defences
