I had to google 'savant' Edited by Sansbup (24 May 2019 10.33am)

He did some good things for the club and also made some horrendous mistakes, but his biggest fault was lack of judgement. 'Moral' stances are all very well, but there are times when one has to know to either bend with the wind or break with the wind; personally I break wind frequently.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

I liked Simon, the only thing I didn't like was when he described Crystal Palace fc as "my" football club, I know he owned it but........

I suppose that over the years, Simon Jordan has been accused of being full of hot air. PS : I am gratified that I am not seated next to you at 'Selhurst Park' !

Not having it. He loves Palace and threw money at us to try and make us a success. He backed every manager in the market and still stands by us. People spunk themselves silly over SP, the PR man. Jordan wears his heart on his sleeve and is "one of our own". Moreso than a recently departing captain who garnered several pages of sycophancy on here when in reality he scored a hatrick against us for Millwall (kissed the badge) and disgraced us with his off the field antics. Jordan did more for us then either of the former. Mary Mary quite......

I thought he came over really well and didn’t seem to rub anyone up the wrong way. If I could vote on the next PM and he was standing he would get my vote. Would bang a few heads together and be fun to watch.
