I see the UK finished at the bottom, appropriately for the demographic that enjoys it the most.

I'll tell you what, the North Macedonian entry had a cracking pair of... lungs. Never know why everyone looks down their noses at Eurovision, it's a right laugh. Decent totty, some terrible music, Graham Norton's commentary is funny. Would rather be watching that that Jonathan Ross.

If every song was 30 seconds I could watch it but not when the songs are minutes long each. Do a highlights version.

Once Terry Wogan stopped doing it so did I.....Norton was good but you could tell he was more of a believer.

Have to say for the first time in years there were a lot of good songs/tunes...and the fact that Madonna looked and sounded like a dinosaur illustrated how far its come. Its about time we took the bloody thing seriously...as its just as much about 'staging' as it is the song nowadays...clearly whatever the song though we'll get hated on for years to come yet!

I haven't watched it in years not my thing. However what annoys me is that the finances are not equal I believe we and Germany and a couple of others foot the bill and it costs the BBC millions so we can be insulted as countries vote for their friends and ignore us. As usual the BBC is very free with other people's money. I think it's about time they insisted on a more even distribution of the costs. The article below suggest we pay around 300k but that is just for the rights on top of that there will be the cost of sending legions of vital BBC staff to the event (trebles all round). Anyway I hear are song was rubbish.

Madonna demonstrated her inability to sing a tune unless aided with technology. I thought her team would be clever enough to cover her inability, but she simply couldn't manage her "Prayer" song. Her second song: ".off her new album" was feeble reggae and for someone known for her stage performances she was static & ploddy. She also came across as a snappy bitch in the green room chat. Her performance reminded me of when Paul McCartney went out of time with his backing track at the Olympics, although he had ability she has never possessed. Her sneaky "demonstration" with the flags should give them the right to cut her inflated fee. Madonna's was the worst singing performance of the night-including that of the dentist from San Marino!
