I suspect that as is the way these days, the DOF brings in the players to fill the areas that the manager says requires strengthening.

So I accept that my post read that I'm blaming him for the signings and that is probably being harsh on him.

They are however stuck with those players unless a new man can get more out of them.

Problems with Hughton is he had them organiaed but when they got a few poor results they they became an extreme version of themselves defending deeper and deeper. The spurs match was hilarious after about 30 minutes they were defending like a normal team would at 1-0 in the 95 minute of European cup. Two of there goals against us came from slashed clearance hard running forwards and rubbish defending .
