Palace Legend. Farewell, Jules thanks for your great work over 15 years and all the best

Regardless whether he gets a few minutes play or not expect the fans to give him one hell of a send off. chance for the Fanatics to put on a great display !

Have absolutely no doubt he will end up back at the club again in some capacity, whether as a coach or ambassador. Parish loves getting ex-players on board and none are as popular as Jules.

Presumably he is leaving because he feels he still has a season or two in him and I hope he does brilliantly.

My all time favourite player now. Never thought I'd be saying that when he made a couple of absolute howlers in his first ever season for us and I wanted him out the team!

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I took my brother there for a birthday treat a few years ago. The steaks ( not surpisingly ) was amazing. Better than anything the UK can produce.

He’s one of the few players who renews your faith in footballers. He seems like a genuinely nice bloke who’s been a tremendous asset to the club. And an excellent goalkeeper as well.

Jules will always be my No1 keeper..until now, Vic Rouse was my hero from years ago, and of course he still is, BUT, with the history that Jules has made for our club, his dedication to Palace, staying with us through thick and thin..how can you not love the man....A very sad day when he walks out of that door for the last time..Sorry I never met him, or shook his hand, bit I wish Jules ALL, the very-very best for the future..Thank you Jules for being the great man you are....

Here since 81...(LAST CENTURY !!).. x-Dunraven School, early 1960.... Palace 'nut' since 58....

The restaurant in Purley ?

Closed a couple of years ago.

I went there a few times, last time the food was ok and the service was...well friendly if not especially professional.

Shame they were not given much notice. Think the club could have done this

That's not Speroni's restaurant, that place in the main stand is just named after him. His own restaurant is shut.

I've got a pair of signed gloves which I'll cherish. Great ambassador for the club, brings a lump to the throat watching the highlight reels on Instagram.

It would be great to honour him in a permanent way, is a statue too much?
