I think we'll only see 1 or 2 come in unless we let one of AWB or Wilf go for big money.

If either of them go, I would love to see us go for Mitrovic, Mooy, Daniel James if Wilf went and Jayden Bogle if AWB went.

As a general question if we did have to let one of them go who would it reluctantly be? For me sadly it would have to be Aaron. A phenomenal defender already at his age he really is an amazing talent but he does play in a position that would have less impact on the team if he were to leave. Take Wilf out of our side, and..well doesnt bare thinking about. Bloody love AWB mind.

I mean we really arent a selling club any longer, so there is a high chance both will stay.. I just dont see where the funds required for the investment in the team is going to come from apart from player sales. We are up to our eyeballs in FFP.

The season is coming to a close so here are my thoughts on who will be leaving us or who should go this summer
J Speroni will retire and should be made goalkeeping coach Agree
V Guaita will return to Spain and we will replace him with Butland I'd be happy with this but suspect that Guaita's not going anywhere.
J Jack transfer out
A Wan-Bassaka will be sold [ I hope not ] to a top team like Man City or Arsenal. Probably to Man U
J Puncheon his days are numbered and should be sold on. Out of contract
J Ayew should return back to his club Agreed
C Wickham a player I like but we can't keep paying him to only turn out a couple of times a season and keeping a slot blocked up for a fit player. He's not going anywhere
B Sako why did we bring him back needs to be move on to another club. Out of contract, we didn't need him as soon as we loaned Bats
A Sorloth not good enough just transfer out. Agreed
M Batshuayi he would cost us to much for a forward who can't hold the ball up or head the ball. Very good player but not in our price range
W Zaha sad to say I think he will move on this summer I do hope I am wrong. Don't think anyone will come in for him
A Townsend again I hope not but I think he will go back to Newcastle. Not sure why he would leave

Assuming AWB leaves, we will need two strikers, a right back and a left back as a priority. The RB and LB shouldn't be that difficult but lots of teams are after a decent striker and they are very difficult to find, and very expensive.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I would sacrifice AWB over Wilf mainly because Wilf has a large sell on fee to Man U and would mean we would have less money to replace him and strengthen.

The only thing in favour of selling Zaha over AWB would be their respective wages giving us a bit more room FFP wise with Zaha's wage off the books.

I would only sell AWB though if we got a large fee with plenty of add ons for things like international appearances and sell on percentages.

I think people underestimate the importance of good full backs though and in the modern game they are one of the most important positions on the pitch.

You only have to look at the importance that someone like Pep put on bringing in full backs at Citeh to see how much more important they have become.

Ideal world, Chelsea come in and give us £50m plus Reece James and some add ons for various achievements. Never gonna happen though.

I'd like to see them both stay but ultimately if we are going to progress and strengthen the team, the only way is to either get outside investment or gamble and sell one of our star players.

Any idea what % cut United get from a potential Zaha transfer? If Zaha was to go it would be huge money, Palace are still in a strong position negotiations wise.

The sell on fee has never been announced but it's rumoured to be about 20%

Much as it hurts to say it , Might be the right time to cash in and rebuild . As we don’t seem to be progressing on the pitch as much as we should . We could do a lot with 100 mil .

only 3 I would suggest are quality player the other 9 we have
1 retiring
1 homesick
2 out of contract
2 not champion standard
1 sick note
2 on loan

I take your point but you still cant clear out 9 or 10 players and not replace them if you want to stay up. Has never been done. Leaves way too big a hole in your squad. So, quality or not you still talk out your backside if you think all of those mentioned will be going this summer.

..........because there is no way Parish will authorise a spending spree for more than 4 players and frankly, unless the incoming ones are of better quality whats the point? Might as well stick with what we have.

I'm sure he likes 120k a week more, which Spurs won't be paying him alongside what we'll want for his signature and their debt repayments.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Spurs announced a World record 113m profit in their most recent accounts. If they want a player bad enough they can make it very difficult for that players club to say no.
Question is, how bad do they want Wilf? I'm not so sure they love him as much as the media have made out.
I can see a bit of dancing between Levy and Parish in the summer. Levy will demand a very good deal for Spurs. Parish will (hopefully) not entertain any offer that's less than 60m (especially as we have to give 15% of it to Man United).
And then one of two things will happen. Either someone serious will come in with the kind of serious money it would take to get him or no one will come forward with a tempting enough offer and he'll be staying put for at least another year as no one sells their best player in January.
At the end of the day, at this moment in time he is worth far more to Palace than anyone is willing to pay.
