This season in the league? None at all. All our league goals from strikers have been from the loanees. I know that CB & CW have generally spent more time in the treatment room, but the focus now really should be on permanent players for 2019/20 that can score. CB has lost his mojo so either needs to be moved on OR given real competition for a spot in the team. If we can get Michy (although I think others will be interested, or Chelsea will take him back) that would be ideal, along with possibly a fit again Wickham as 3rd choice.

Batman seems to suit us - I don't believe he will ever be our player though. It seems a shame that no matter how many chances they get - Wickham is going to be injured and Benteke poor. Sorloth seems unlikely to ever be Premier League standard but he is on loan so is playing. So giving game time to the two strikers we have seems pointless as they don't seem likely to improve to me and presumably Roy also.
From this we will eventually have to buy sometime.

i cannot see why people moan about loans...i know yhey are not our players, but more often than notvthey enhance the squad whilst here.

Loans with an option to buy are truly great deals. It’s a win win.

Loans with no option to buy and no realistic prospect represent the most short term thinking possible when running a football club.

It’s time to move on from short term fire fighting and have a proper long term strategy. We shouldn’t need to loan first team players if our recruitment was good enough. We are literally helping rival clubs with improving their players and the value of their players.

Did you notice the giant RLC sized hole in our midfield when we started out this year?

If it increases our chances of not getting relegated then I am all for it, but:

1 - with the squad we have now we should have been nowhere near relegation this year either way.

2 - whilst we give game after game to Batshuayi we are literally making our strikers even worse by denying them game time.

3 - if we are going to cut ties with benteke we need to get the most money possible, that won’t be the case if he is not playing.

As I said above while the spectre of relegation looms we need goals and points, end of story.

Once safety is assured we need to be planning for next year, not building teams and systems around the very members of our squad we can guarantee WONT be here next year.

Can't agree with any of this, RLC helped us to retain our Premiership status last season, Batshuayi probably will this season, or at least push us up the table, what is it, 1M plus for each place ?
What if you don't have the funds to buy a 20M-30M player?
there are two sides to your theory about Playing Benteke, suppose he plays every game from now until the end of the season and doesn't score any goals, that would A/ reduce our league table payments, and B/make his value lower as no one would want him, might even relegate us.
