Peter Taylor as well, Trevor Francis, although he did give us 5-0 win against the weed and he did sign Andy Johnson, so I’ll let him off Not to mention the great Alan mullary (probably the worst) and Alan Smith, even Big Mal, most fans loved him, my self included, but he did get us relegated in successive seasons.

Im sure that doesnt go unoticed and is appreciated. Agree some of the games can be a tad boring. I pine for the days of Pardew when you would regularly see four or five goals a game. Trouble was they weren't scored by us. Think he's doing a decent enough job. We are top of our mini league of six clubs fighting over the last relegation spot and in the quarters of the cup. Happy days.

If anybody believes we have ever (in the PL) this term played better and more control football under another manager please speak up. For me, I just wish RH was 20 years younger and willing to sign a new 5-year contract. Thanks Roy from me.

Predictable line up, same tactics every week and no plan B to worry about, oh and more often than not they get the 3 points. What's not to love? More often than not the opposition don’t get the three points by a ratio of almost 2:1. But let’s not let facts get in the way.

I hope you're correct, table doesn't lie though. As for 'accurately critical' only at the end of a season: how many games did FDB get? I'm all for reasoned debate, so try not to chuck in stuff like this. No manager gets weighed up at the end of a season and judged on the balance of things, otherwise Mourinho and Wagner would still be in a job. Performances don't lie either and we are showing well and that is what I go on not results, FDB and others weren't allowed to become disasters so no one will ever know it's just assuming, that is always debatable. Many have suggested moving Hodgson on because he is not up to it.

Getting that balance right, Pardew did mention that he wanted to outscore teams his problem was not to play a fit again Murray and allow him to join Reading on loan.

Er, think you missed the point mate. It was Harry Kane TAKING corners under RH. Yes and his record of being on the end of a corner and scoring is just two against Panama in the 6-1, you probably could have caused them problems they had no idea how to defend a corner, it results in the fact that corners are stupidly overrated unless you are playing the likes of Panama. International teams normally understand very well how to defend corners with Kane in them or not.

Roy’s team selection and use of substitutes can occasionally be infuriating but when you’ve won at Man.City, scored three times at Anfield and knocked Spurs out of the cup it’s difficult to make an argument that he’s a bad manager. It’s also not his fault that our inability to score despite creating a ton of chances costs us points on a regular basis otherwise we would be safe already.

The ratio is exactly 1:1 this season, being 13 defeats and 13 "non-defeats". If we lose today (which I hope we don't), the statement is true. A surgeon is judged not on the cleaness of the incision, but whether the patient survives. We're playing tidy football, great. Can't convert 30 attempts on goal in a game and we're sat three points above relegation having lost twice to Watford and failing to beat Cardiff at home (amongst other bad results).

Roy makes us competitive in almost every game we play and we are very rarely comprehensively beaten. This can make some games less exciting, but it has also helped us to get some big results. At the beginning of the season we were disappointing, but we have slowly got better and better and if we keep it up I could still see us finishing in the top 10. His and Ray's organisation and planning is incredible and the work of the players when they don't have the ball is up there with the best teams. We also play some great one-touch stuff on the wings with the fullbacks linking up well with the wingers. For me the one big issue has been a lack of a focal point in the box. Roy has been unlucky that the club stopped spending meaning we didn't address this until the loan signing of Batshuayi. I'm grateful for what he's done for the club and I personally think he has earned the respect of the fans.
